Day 2 October 20, 2013

More Sun and heat. Bought some expensive Panamanian Coffee at the Super Mercado on the way to Tocumen airport. Caught the 10 AM to Guayaquil, Ecuador.

We were treated to overcast sky's and 87 degrees upon our Noon arrival. Found a solid driver and got to the Malecon (Boardwalk).

Stayed at the "Manso boutique Hotel":  The Hotel is kinda funky but a very cute funky. 2 flight walk-up to a small room with 3 beds (1 bunk) AC, private bath, strong WIFI.  It has 2 great 2 person balcony's right above the entrance to the Malecon with table & chairs for hangin out or grabbing a smoke.....price...$40.

We walked the Malecon and stopped off at Resaca 's seafood restaurant.  On the River, tremendous views of the water and city. Shrimp and Crab Ceviche for me, oysters Au Gratin and Creamy Garlic Crab for my sweet. Food was OK but better grades from Irene than I. Finished our Malecon excursion, decided against a party bus or boat and went back to funkyville. People everywhere have been terrific!
