We have been in residence at the Vista Del Mar Condo at 2 Degrees South in Salinas, Ecuador since Sept. 30. Salinas is located on a peninsula that is the most western point in South America. We have yet to eat out at a restaurant. Cooking at home, we've had pot roast on Thursday, and fresh stone crabs and fish roe on Friday. Tonight we may visit one of our favorite restaurants or finish the stone crabs!
The Seminoles will play Wake while Bama visits Georgia. World Cup Rugby and MLB will also be featured. I'm hoping the boys will get the Sling Box up and running soon.
It's spring in South America and the days here are 65-75 degrees, partly sunny and with a light to moderate breeze. Nights are cool and quiet this time of year. A little busier today than expected, the weather has been warmer than usual by 5-10 degrees and the Ecuadoreans love Salinas. This mile long crescent beach along with the adjacent Chipipe beach is filling up now (2:30 PM).
